Aortic stent grafting, also known as Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat life-threatening conditions of the aorta, such as aortic aneurysms or dissections. A fabric-covered metal mesh tube (stent graft) is inserted into the aorta through a catheter, reinforcing the weakened walls of the artery and preventing it from rupturing.
